Educational Philosophy:

I believe that everyone is a learner and everyone is a teacher, and that learning is a never-ending process of life; it doesn’t stop at the classroom door.  My goals are to empower, encourage, challenge, and create confidence in my students. I hope to empower my students to embrace both the freedom and the responsibility for their own education. I work to create a supportive learning environment where assumptions, common knowledge, and personal beliefs can be examined and challenged, an environment where personal and academic growth are both nurtured.

As W.B.Yeats so eloquently put it, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”
