It is estimated that hundreds of millions of waste tyres are generated each year. In US alone, around 300 million waste tires are generated each year. Due to lack of storage options, these tires keep filling up the landfills. One of the biggest problems with waste tires is that these are a big fire hazard and can cause a big problem.
Another problem with the waste tires is that these do not degrade easily. In simple terms, a tire left out in the open will take hundreds of years to degrade on its own. Thankfully, with the help of tire pyrolysis machine, one not only gets rid of waste tires in an easy manner but also gets some useful products in the process.

In simple terms, pyrolysis can be defined as a chemical reaction in which big molecules are broken down into smaller and simpler molecules by heating in oxygen less environment. Cooking is also a type of pyrolysis process in which complex food molecules are further down into smaller and digestible molecules.
The tire recycling pyrolysis process works in a similar manner. In this process, the large molecules in the rubber tires are broken down into smaller molecules of carbon black, gas and oil. This process takes place without any oxygen when the raw material is heated to around 400 degrees C. Get pyrolysis machine cost here.
In this process, a worker shreds the waste tires which are then fed into the reactor. The reactor environment is oxygen free and it is heated to a temperature of 350 to 475 degrees C depending on the mix of raw material. The raw material keeps getting heated inside for a period of around 8 to 12 hours.

The pyrolysis gas generated during the process is usually used to heat the reactor. The gas can also be used for running electricity generator or for burning other furnace. Once the pyrolysis process has been completed, the pyrolysis oil from tires and carbon black is removed from the reactor along with steel wires.
